WOSB Certification through SBA

We’re excited to announce that as of July 21, 2023, Division 9 has officially received WOSB (Women-Owned Small Business) certification from the Small Business Administration (SBA). This certification underscores our commitment to providing high-quality services while supporting women business owners in government contracting.


What is WOSB Certification?


The WOSB Federal Contract Program, established by the SBA, aims to level the playing field for women business owners by reserving certain federal contracts for women-owned businesses. These contracts, known as “set-asides,” allow certified businesses like Division 9 to compete in industries where women-owned businesses are underrepresented.

Our certification allows us to compete for federal contracts in areas related to commercial construction (NAICS 236220) and highway, street, and bridge construction (NAICS 237310). This certification helps us grow our business while supporting government initiatives that prioritize diversity and inclusion.
