At Division 9, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality services to our clients, and we are proud to share that we are IICRC certified. The Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) is a globally recognized non-profit organization that sets the standards for the inspection, cleaning, and restoration industries.

What is IICRC?

Founded in 1972 by Ed York, the IICRC has grown into a globally respected body that oversees the certification of over 49,000 certified technicians and 6,500 certified firms worldwide. The organization’s mission is to establish and promote high standards for inspection, cleaning, and restoration practices.

IICRC certifications are earned through comprehensive training and testing, ensuring that individuals and companies meet the strictest standards of competence in their field. This certification is a mark of excellence, representing the skill, knowledge, and expertise required to deliver professional and reliable services.

Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) Certification

One of the key certifications we hold is the Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) certification, which is an essential qualification for anyone in the carpet cleaning industry. This certification focuses on the art and science of carpet cleaning, providing professional service providers with in-depth knowledge and practical skills for maintaining carpets in both residential and light commercial settings.

The CCT certification covers a wide range of topics, including:

  • Fiber, Yarn, and Carpet Construction Identification: Understanding the different types of carpet fibers and yarns helps determine the best cleaning methods and products.

  • Cleaning Science and Methodology: Learning the principles behind effective cleaning and the science that ensures carpets are properly maintained.

  • Soiling Conditions: Identifying and addressing different types of carpet soiling to ensure effective treatment.

  • Practical Application: The hands-on skills necessary to perform carpet cleaning, including pre-inspection, fabric identification, and the use of appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment.

By achieving the CCT certification, we’ve demonstrated our commitment to mastering carpet cleaning techniques and providing top-tier service to our clients.

Why IICRC Certification Matters to us

For Division 9, the IICRC certification isn’t just a credential, it’s a commitment to excellence. Our certified technicians are trained to meet the highest industry standards, ensuring that every project is completed with precision, care, and professionalism.
